Jake J. Mohorovic III

I’m Jake J. Mohorovic III, and I’m running for Baltimore County Council to provide accountable leadership for District 9.

I believe government should focus on doing the basics well—safe neighborhoods and reliable services for residents—while making sure taxpayers’ hard-earned money isn’t wasted.

I’m running to address overcrowded schools and housing caused by poor planning.

I will work to improve roads and trash pickup across our communities.

I’m asking for your vote, your trust, your ideas, and the opportunity to represent our community with accountability.

My campaign focuses on local community issues and solutions—not national noise.

Key Issues

My campaign is focused on practical, local issues that directly impact our community.

Community Input on Development

Development decisions should include meaningful input from the community before plans move forward. Residents deserve a voice in shaping changes that impact their neighborhoods.

Preserving Fort Howard for Our Veterans

Fort Howard should be preserved and protected for our veterans and the community. Its history and purpose deserve responsible oversight, not unchecked development.

Rebuilding the Key Bridge

Eastern Baltimore County has been significantly impacted by the loss of the Key Bridge. We must engage all parties and restore this critical connection as quickly as possible.

Improving Basic County Services

Reliable services like trash pickup, road maintenance, and community upkeep should be consistent and well-managed.

Opposing New Taxes and Excess Spending

We must limit unnecessary government spending, reduce waste, and avoid new taxes that place additional burdens on residents.

Supporting Law Enforcement and Accountability

We must support law enforcement officers and ensure that criminal offenders are held accountable, including appropriate consequences for juvenile crime.
